Things you throw away when you move: batch #2, dying plants

My new apartment is full of windows facing south but I won't be moving there in time to save this little palm which has suffered through too many dark Minnesota winters and also sits by the bedroom window, which had to be opened quite a bit these past few months to let the stench of urethane and varnish escape so that I did not asphyxiate in my sleep, and it's been frostbit and has dried out and then been overwatered but maybe it will take root in some landfill or will be rescued from the dumpster and go on to father a forest of palms across a future Minnesota that global warming has turned into an arid savannah.
