My day at the fair.

Crop art and giant pumpkins. This is what it's all about.

Ostrich on a stick. Eggrolls on a stick. Deep fried Twinkies on a stick. Heart attack on a stick.

As a former 4-Her who actually did collect insects, I was most interested in what the kiddies have been up to lately.

This is the milking booth, where fair exhibitors can bring their cows for milking. Obviously, cows need to be milked twice a day. The milk is then sold to fairgoers.

One of the biggest draws at the fair is the Fair's Biggest Pig. This year's weighed over 1200 pounds and was too big to fit in the camera lens.

Beautiful ewes!
