Body of Christ

I just walked past Colleague Richard's office. He was having lunch.

"Oh, that looks good. What is it?"

"A lamb wrap from Good to Go. It's Good Friday, so I thought it was appropriate."

Mmmm that sounded good. I just got back with my own lamb wrap.

Lamb of Good to Go you take away my hunger / have mercy on me on your way out..

It's Good Friday, and I always take a half-day vacation on the anniversary of the death of Jesus.

Are you a Chreaster, Jason? Yeah, you talk shit about Jesus and God and the Holy Ghost, but when those cakes and pies and turkeys and hams and deviled eggs come out, your eyes boggle and you can't control yourself. "Ummmph Ummphf ummphf!" Eat those candied yams! "Scarff gobble yonnk!" There goes a pomegranate-cinnamon grilled quail!

What's a Chearster? Dictionary.com didn't know. I finally had to go to http://www.unwords.com/unword/Chreaster.html to look it up

A chreaster, if unwords didn't say, is a person who only celebrates "chr"istmas and easter. Jason is always moaning about how he's an atheist, but he seems to have no problem with the smorgasboard aspects of the holidays. I'm just teasing him about it.
