Hell House

I just finished watching the documentary Hell House with Brian. Highly recommended. Before we actually sat down to watch the movie Brian said, "so this is that crazy John Waters film, right?" No, Brian ... this might not be quite what you are expecting. But over the course of the hour and a half film, it occurred to us both that it really wasn't so much unlike a John Waters film ... I just kept thinking about how we really need to destroy this culture of the beautiful that permeates so much of mainstream gay culture so that these ugly fags have a place of refuge apart from fundamentalist Christianity.
