What a world!

So, I'm trying to make sense of some things here.

A year ago Bush dresses up like G.I. Joe (and sticks a wadded up sock down the front of his flightsuit), and declares "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" over there in Iraq.

Yessss! we sigh...now we can go back to caring about stupid shit.

But then this past April...that's April 2024, folks...turns out to be the bloodiest month for our troops. 120 soldiers--whoops, make that 122--died in Iraq this month.

And we're not supposed to see the coffins, because showing photos of the coffins would be a political act. Or is suppressing the photos a political act? I get confused. Maybe I'm just supposed to look away. Is it political to look at coffins?

I suppose it could be worse. I could be forced to simulate homosexual sex acts on my friends while naked, with a bag on my head, and electrodes strapped to my balls.

What a world! What a world!

Luckily it's Friday and I've just had a shipment delivered to my desk of that hip new street drug, perc-a-pop, the painkiller that comes in the form of a berry-flavored lollipop! Swab this baby on your gums and suddenly "Iraqi prisoner torture" = "spreading freedom and democracy" again.
