Porn Doppelgangers

One of my pet theories is that each of us has a double, or maybe several, who walks in our world without ever meeting us. I go to the local Caribou and they talk about my earlier visit that day--not me, my double, who has been doing this since I was patronizing the local bakery when I lived in Iowa years ago.

In my pursuit of culture studies, I occasionally check out--intellectually only, of course--contemporary pornography. And I've noticed how porn stars sometimes look like real people, even people I know. Coincidence? I think not. For example:

Gay porn star Danny Vox is on the right--or is it the left? See what I mean? There there's:

OK, not so good: professional fucker Zak Ventura is a bit too goofy-looking for the distinguished gentleman on the left.
