Premonition

Last night I dreamt that the election had been held, with Bush winning over 400 electoral votes. I think he got 405 to be exact. I dreamt I woke up in bed to that news, and laid there sobbing in this sort of claustrophobic, chest-constricting, huddled-up-in-a-ball sort of way. The sobs came slowly, reticulating up my throat to sort of burp out as if I were a frog.

Time to volunteer at The Vote Center (612) 529-3640. They need help dropping off GOTV literature over the weekend and on Monday. And if you can take all of Tuesday off and have a car, consider driving some old fogies around.
